Jukebox Zeros
Bio
Jukebox Zeros from Philadelphia, PA (a.k.a. The City of Bother and Loathe) are a Loud-Fast-Rules Garage Punk Rawk ‘N’ Roll band that are equally Loose and Boozey, as much as they Thrash, Trash, and Power Pop with Attitude. Their records have be favorably compared to a diverse group of artists including The Replacements, The Rolling Stones, New York Dolls, and The Stooges.
“Almost single-handedly keeping the Rock and Roll flame alive in a city known more for greasy sandwiches than smoking riffs, Philadelphia’s Jukebox Zeros are a diamond in the rough. Over the course of 6 years, The Zeros have maintained a level of excellence that is head and shoulders above other groups in the “garage rock” game. On their latest release “Rock and Roll Ronin,” the band present themselves as wandering samurais on a mission to garner the respect they deserve, and rightfully so. For those who have had the honor to see these four masters (Peter, Rob, Brian, and Justin) perform live, the truth is obvious: No one brings traditional American Rock and Roll in a tight, explosive package like the Jukebox Zeros.” — Scott “Deluxe” Drake, THE HUMPERS

Interview
With Rob, Peter & Brian
CM: Your new EP “City of Bother and Loathe” is being released on vinyl. Who has a record player anymore? You might as well put it out on cassette (I still have a walkman somewhere…)
Rob: I was itching to do an 8-track with an accompanying live videodisc. I was nixed by the band.
Peter: Well, the flip side to your question is, who buys cd’s anymore? Hell, who “buys” music AT ALL anymore?!
