Gunfighter
Bio
Gunfighter was started as a side project, but seemed like a breath of fresh air for the Molly McGuire boys. Jason Blackmore found Gunfighter to be a vent to new ideas that didn’t quite fit the Molly mold. With this new found creative outlet the band went to Train Wreck Studios to record the new material.
Shortly thereafter they went to Red House Recording studios to record some old and new Molly songs. When all of this was completed it was decided at this point they would push forward as Gunfighter. Compiling songs from the early Gunfighter recordings as well as the Molly recordings they compiled the full length that is currently known as “Pro-Electric.” This full length was scheduled for release on the now defunct label Loosegroove Records and was later released by the band on their own label High Noon Records.
The full length CD, High Noon, produced by Ed Rose and Jason Blackmore is now available on Idol Records.
